Culture and Values

The Adelaide Convention Centre values and supports multiculturalism, equal opportunity and work/life balance. With more than 50 nationalities represented, a balanced gender and age mix, equal employment is at the forefront of our selection process. The result is a culturally rich and vibrant workplace where new ideas and experiences are a daily occurrence. What's more, the ACC offers up to 14 weeks paid and 24 months unpaid parental leave.

We achieve this goal through the creation of substantial employment opportunities for school leavers, a proactive career advancement program, and development strategies for our existing workforce, and by actively recruiting mature aged workers, people with disabilities and mothers returning to the workforce.

Industrial Relations
By developing strong and lasting relationships over a long period of time, the Adelaide Convention Centre has an excellent industrial relations record with the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association union.
